Jeremy Willis was born and raised in the Interior of BC and retains strong roots to the ranching community there. A long time 4H member, Jeremy found a passion for performing and public speaking early on, and that same passion continues in his singing and song writing. A concert band member from age 13 on, Jeremy learned to play and appreciate many forms of music. He was especially influenced by his Uncle, Jim McMurphy, with his guitar and campfire prowess. His mother got a guitar when he was 18 that Jeremy gradually appropriated, and soon he was trying his hand at campfire sing-a-longs and talent shows.


Jeremy has had many careers, from ranch hand to mill worker, forest fire fighter to disc jockey, and those varied experiences are evidenced by the humour and anecdotes that he brings to a performance. A long time association with the Country Thunder Music Company gave Jeremy the time to develop as a DJ, and his focus on country and western serves him in great stead when providing sound for rodeos, western weddings and other outdoor country events. Jeremy and his family currently live in Kamloops BC.
